Hi! My name is Tony Coffman and I have the honor of being the pastor here at Winner Methodist. My wife Lisa and I have been part of this church family since October 2023. I received my Master of Arts in Ministry Studies from Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana in August 2023.
Lisa and I have two adult children; a son and a daughter who both live in Central Nebraska. Lisa loves to write music to play on her keyboard or ukulele, bird watch, and grow flowers. My passions include fishing and woodworking. Together we love to go to garage sales and enjoy photography.
I want to personally invite you to join us on Sunday mornings and in our activities throughout the week as we strive together to fall more in love with and become more obedient to our Lord, Jesus.
Winner Methodist Church is part of the Global Methodist Churches. At Winner Methodist, we believe in the whole counsel of God's holy Word, and the Lordship of Jesus Christ, God's Word revealed in the flesh.
Our community includes those who attend our church, those in and around Winner, and around the world who need to know the reality of Jesus's love.
Jesus told us that he came to serve, not to be served and that those who are true followers of his would seek to be last, not first, through serving others (Matthew 20:26-28).
Our kid's ministry at Winner Methodist is called G.P.S. (Grow, Pray, Serve). GPS is on Wednesday nights from 6:00 to 7:00 and serves kids from kindergarten through 6th grade.
Each Wednesday night the children will go on a new adventure where they learn more about Jesus. GPS Kids is a high-energy program with different monthly themes that all point the children to Jesus. All kids K-6 are welcome, just come on by.
Come and check out our High School MYF Group, open to all in grades 9 through 12! During the school year, we meet every Wednesday night from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. This year we are learning about Jesus and diving into Christian apologetics.
This group also does mission-based work, while playing fun games along the way.
At Winner Methodist Church, confirmation begins in 7th grade and ends in 9th grade. During these two years we read, study, and discuss both the Old and New Testaments; one each year. Our Confirmation Group meets on Wednesday nights from 6:00- 7:00 PM.

During a student’s 9th grade year, each student selects a mentor. During the year, the student, mentor, and pastor gather to study specific aspects of the faith, including but not limited to God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, worship, and living our lives as Christians.
Each Spring, usually in May, we celebrate their journey on Confirmation Sunday.
Thank you for contacting us. We will get back to you as soon as possible. If you have an urgent need, you can call the church at (605) 842-0854.
Our office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our service times are 9:00 on Sunday mornings.
